Content Removal Requests
How to ask us to review, correct, update or remove an item we have published.
Last updated October 22, 2026
Who can ask
Companies, workers, unions, local officials and other people named in or affected by an article can use this page — as can any reader who believes an item is wrong or out of date.
What to send
- The exact web address of the article you mean.
- Who you are and how you are connected to the story.
- What you believe is wrong, out of date, or should be removed, and why.
- A link to a source that supports your request, if you have one.
- The best email address to reach you at.
What happens next
Every request is read and checked against the sources the article relies on. Depending on what we find, we may correct, update or annotate an item, remove it, or leave it as published. Reporting that is already part of the public record may stay available even after a request. We do not charge for a review, and we do not promise a fixed response time.
Corrections
If you have simply spotted a factual error — a wrong figure, a wrong date, a wrong location — send it the same way. Corrections are noted on the article itself.
