Myerstown plans affect 81 employees

The state’s October listing identifies 81 affected employees at 60 Central Boulevard in Myerstown, Lebanon County. It lists layoffs from March 1 through June 15, 2027.

WHTM reported on October 28 that Kenco’s letter described a shutdown expected to be permanent and to affect all its employees at that facility. This is the same Myerstown action listed by the state as a layoff, not an additional group of job cuts. WHTM report via AOL

Northampton plans affect 52 employees

A separate September entry lists a closure affecting 52 employees at 150 Cesanek Road in Northampton, Northampton County. The state gives a period beginning November 16, 2026, and ending April 1, 2027.

These dates cover the planned changes at each site, rather than each person’s final day. The records reviewed do not confirm severance terms or give a reason for both actions. They describe two sites, not a companywide Kenco shutdown.
