Pedals plans to close New Haven and Durham shops, keeping Middletown open

Pedals Smoothie and Juice Bar is consolidating its Connecticut business into Middletown rather than shutting down entirely. Patch reported October 30 that the Durham and New Haven shops would close while the business continues at 386 Main Street in Middletown.

CT Insider's October 29 report placed the two closures at the end of that week. An exact final service date and time were not specified in the sources reviewed, and completion has not been independently confirmed.

The company's website lists the New Haven shop at 999 State Street and the Durham shop at 16 Main Street, Unit 301. Its Middletown address is 386 Main Street.

The website still displayed all three locations when checked October 31. Customers should therefore confirm current service directly rather than assume that an older location listing means a shop remains open.

The reports do not provide an affected-employee count or confirm whether staff can transfer. The two closures therefore cannot be described as a confirmed number of job losses.
