Wahlburgers set October 31 as Fenway restaurant’s final day

Wahlburgers announced that its Fenway restaurant would end its 11-year run on October 31, 2026, as the location’s lease expired. The restaurant is at 132 Brookline Avenue in Boston, near Fenway Park.

Boston.com reported the company’s announcement on October 30. WHDH separately reproduced the company’s statement specifying October 31. Although that date has passed, the sources reviewed for this report do not independently confirm that the final service took place as planned.

Wahlburgers said it was looking for a new Boston-area location. It did not identify a replacement address or opening date in the announcement. Customers should wait for a specific company update before assuming the Fenway restaurant has relocated.

This is a closure of one restaurant, not the entire chain. Boston.com reported that four other Massachusetts locations would remain: two at Logan Airport, one in Plainville and one in Springfield. The company also said it had opened 10 restaurants nationally during 2026.

The reviewed announcement does not give an affected employee count, describe transfers or confirm layoffs. It also does not explain how any outstanding location-specific orders or reservations would be handled. Restaurant counts should not be read as a measure of jobs lost.

For customers, check Wahlburgers’ official location directory before planning a visit. Its Fenway page still displayed a menu when reviewed, so a remaining web page alone should not be taken as proof the restaurant is operating.
